Similarities and Divergences in Attitudes Toward Georgian Irish Heritage

This paper makes a comparative analysis of the treatment Georgian heritage in Northern Ireland (NI) and Republic (Éire). It assesses this through review listing practices, lost houses, parallel evolution planning policies along with historical reasons for this, analyzing nature drivers limits to conservation buildings Ireland. NI Éire share most factors that led early twentieth century significant loss, later creation effective inclusive legislation. Our study shows political mindset is what has discouraged conservation, lack key legislation as passed Great Britain but not prior partition, due context.
